Well, my day changed today when Siri told me that it was actually not expected to rain today. That meant that instead of getting right to cleaning my closets, I could actually go take a nice long walk with two of my favorite former co-workers from the Cutie Pie Company.
I always love to get together with these two because, while one of them left for another company, the other one is still working with Chief Cutie and keeps us both informed of all of the goings on and the head-splitting craziness and just re-affirms my choice in leaving that funny farm.
After our walk, I set out on another walk with Martini and we stayed out most of the afternoon in the cool, windy day.
Finally came home and started the clean-out and then made some dinner and made my check-in phone calls and then went back to the closet.
I’ve made a pile for consignment, a pile for donation, and left a mountain of things I still need to try on.
Oh, it’s so much fun to go back and try things on! It’s truly like I have a whole new wardrobe.
More to follow tomorrow because it IS still supposed to rain all day. Let’s see if it lets up for Pickleball or if I get caught in a downpour OR if I get to spend the day like Carrie Bradshaw when she did all of those try ons before moving in with Big…
