Well i promised i would get pictures.

Firstly i will start with our new home for the car and the recent work.

This is my car before it got sent to the new unit on the trailer, first time it’s actually moved in years.

I was also kind of forced to take my freshly painted engine into my room, little known fact, engines are heavy and hard to carry up stairs!

Over the last 2 days i’ve been prepping the engine bay for primer and paint, it’s a lot of sanding and everything needs to be smooth and sleek.
I’ll try have this in primer and ready for paint next week when we go.

And here is one of our new home, it’s big enough for the cars but we have a lot of stuff inside the cars with nowhere to go, so we are looking into scaffolding to put up so we can store stuff.

I’ve been working on a wheel in my spare time for something to do, not a whole lot to do considering the whole quitting of MMO games and focusing on exercise. I’ll put up a few pictures of the process and how far i’ve gotten at least, it should be ready for the paint as soon as it arrives.

The wheel had been sitting in the garage for quite some time, covered in oil and rust from all the water dripping on it, it’s been tough to get it back into shape but i think i may of saved this particular one.

Even when sanding back you can see just how badly the weather had gotten too it and the corrosion.

eventually i got it to somewhere i am happy with which was almost all bare metal.

And it is currently sitting in primer waiting for a few more coats and rubbing down for paint.

unfortunately thats it for car stuff for now, thankfully now that the car is indoors i don’t have to worry about doing bodywork and rust setting in, no more rain and snow and condensation to ruin all my hard work. Now without fighting the elements i think i can really make some progress :)
