Come swim with me
Through the oceans of my mind
See all the colors
Swirling around us
Shiny bangles and baubles
Glitter and sparkle
Explore the dark corners now
Hear the deafening noise
The chaos enveloping us
Dodge the red darts flying past
I will protect you, dear
We will escape through
Outer space
Peace and calm
Stars all around
Floating downward
Through the clouds
We land safely
And wrap them around us
A cocoon of safety
Where we discover
Getting lost in each other
Is an adventure
And the truth of it all is
The most beauty is found
In the imperfections
