1. What did you do in 2023 that you’d never done before?
Set foot in Antarctica. Snorkle. Run a concert series. See an orange sky. Visit the Statue of Liberty.
2. Did you achieve your goals for the year, and will you make more for next year?
Did not make resolutions
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
My sister-in-law’s father. It was a very sad day. The Treasurer lost her mother suddenly, and I was acquainted with her.
5. What countries did you visit?
Argentina. And we visited territories with ambiguous soverign claims in Antarctica, so we may have also been to Peru, Norway, France, Russia, or Britain. From the Caribbean, we visited St. Kitts and Nevis, Antigua and Barbuda, St. Lucia, Dominica, and Barbados. From the same trip we also technically have visited Britain, Holland, and France.
6. Where did you go on vacation?
Antarctica. Argentina. Montauk. West Indies.
7. What would you like to have in 2024 that you lacked in 2023?
New team.
8. What date from 2023 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Many of the days in Antarctica were memorable. I think the day in Neko Harbour was the most memorable.
9. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Not getting fired from the job.
10. What was your biggest regret?
Dragging my feet with changing teams.
11. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I got Covid coming back from Antartica vacation.

Transition glasses.

La Professeur, who nags me to make doctor appointments.

Mortgage

Patricia Janeckova. Her passing was a shock.

Some new musicians in our music group. They seem to get the “vibe” of our organisation.

The key to happiness is low expectations (learned from the rabbit).

I do a good job with flossing.

On our cruise to the Caribbeans, other guests assumed that I was working for the cruise line.

Getting a higher cholesterol reading in my lipid panel.

Not getting fired.

Looking for a house.

Hjertevafler (Norwegian waffle).

Going to open houses on weekends. Getting bubble tea on days when I worked from home.

Letting the rabbit out in the morning - he now has the run of the house.
