I’m reading this book- In the Darkroom by Susan Feludi. It’s about her father, about transexualism, about Hungary, about the Holocaust, about being Jewish. Desserts are mentioned, including sacher torte - which is chocolate cake with apricot jam and perhaps whipped cream.

And here’s a before picture of the barn. I hope it doesn’t turn out to be too ugly.

I should have more to say. I do have more to say. But I don’t seem able/willing to say it.

Maybe later.

Blessings to you.

Beautiful photographs. We're just starting to see some color here in Ohio.

Sounds like a very interesting book! I'm still reading about the Romans...no shortage of material there.

Thank you for these amazing photos!

Beautiful pictures :) It's still a lot greener there than here, the leaves are falling fast.
Take care,

We have had RAIN the last few weeks. Little late but much better than never.

We have gotten a bit, a few days of drizzel but not enough yet
Are cattle prices as crazy there as they are here?

woman in the moon Purple Dawn ⋅ September 30, 2023

Crazy as in HIGH. Except they eat so much and the hay crop was pretty poor all summer. Son hopes for some 4th crop, but of course not much. We are cutting corn for silage even though that costs a lot for the cutting and the bag and of course the loss of the corn, but those hungry mouths.

I think the ones big enough will be shipped here soon. We only get one cutting of hay...

Do you have alfalfa hay? That is a great crop.

Purple Dawn woman in the moon ⋅ October 02, 2023

Alfalfa, Timothy and bome for the most part. There was some sneaky clover in some that needs to leave :)
