Lots O' Catching Up Saturday, October 23, 2004
Where should I start? It's been awhile since I have wrote and a few things have happened. However, nothing too exciting.
So, the lady that I walked in on, who was passed away, her son came into see me. He said he had some items to get rid of and asked if I wanted any of them. Being that I am a nice person, or maybe a complete push-over, I immediatly thought of Kumbi. (my ex) He's moving into my apartment complex and has nothing. I figured he could use the items. So today, we were over there moving stuff. Marshall, his cousin, was there too. It was interesting. I say this because there was a time where me and the Zims (not to be confused with the Sims) were not on best of terms. However, this whole forgive and forget thing is really paying off. I was actually IN Marshall's apartment today sitting watching TV waiting for Kumbi to get out of the shower. Two years ago, it couldn't have happened. Two years ago, I was under the impression that all of Zimbawe hated me. Anyway... it's just nice to be past all that.
I applied for a couple of new jobs. Four to be exact. I haven't heard anything as of yet, but that's ok. I am ok with the job I have now... I just would like to keep my options open. Ya know, see what else is out there.
I received my bday gift from Keith finally. It's the Sims 2 game. Very awesome. He also got me a gold chain for my butterfly necklace. I am happy with both items. It took over a month, but that's ok. It's the thought that counts.
So , last night I was bored and on my computer. The combination always tends to be expensive for me, because I start shopping. I usually buy things from ebay... like a DVD, or a necklace, or something small. This time that didn't happen. What did I buy? Dude, I am getting a Dell. Not a cheap one either. I told myself that I wanted top of the line, that way I don't have to buy a new one so quick. So, yeah... that's how I convinced myself buying myself a third computer was a good idea. So now I will have three. Arrrgh! I don't need three computers! I decided I will sell my laptop though. Now I just need room for my new desktop. Everything will fit on this desk, except a second monitor. They are both flat screens, so maybe the will fit.... but not likely. I dunno. Arrgh! Damn, if I had a boyfriend, these things wouldn't happen! Dang, I can't wait until my car is paid off. In about 2 years, I will have money again. Wooo hoooo! Now, if I could just stop spending the money I have. Damn. I really should cancel the computer... but I don't want to! So, I guess I just have to remember this: "You only live once." Might as well spend the money ya got.
Alright, this is all caught up. I am off to find something to do.
