We Meet On Thursday Tuesday, May 25, 2004
It's been a long time since I have felt as though someone could make me happy. I met a guy online that seems to be wonderful. It's been a very long time since I have felt that excitement waiting for his call and knowing he will call me. The last few years I was my life was being lived through dreams... Perhaps this time my dreams will come to life.
I have talked to so many men online through the last few years, yet none of them have captured my interest like this man. We seem to have a lot in common and he makes me laugh. We have been talking through our nextels and I can't beleive I have been made this happy. We talk on the phone for hours. I don't remember the last time I talked to someone on the phone for over an hour. Was it high school? Was it later than that? I don't recall. He even called me the other night just to say goodnight. It was incredible.
I could go on and on about Derek, but he is now on the phone, so I have to cut this short. All I know is that I am very happy. I haven't met him yet, but he is taking me out on Thursday. He is picking me up, taking me out to dinner, and then we are off to play some pool. I can't believe it... A REAL DATE!
However, I do have to say this. I have enjoyed this much, and I have only known him for about three days. If by chance we don't make after we meet, at least I got to feel like this again...
