Minnesota clematis

Irish roses - or maybe English - either way they like a more moderate climate than the center of North America.

And some more roses because they were so pretty.

And some Iowa zinnias that didn’t get watered enough while I was gone.

And close it up with some local ferns from the woods - that I might have posted before. They are on the north side of the house and took their picture through the window.

That’s the lid of the cistern in the background. Jewel weed there too.

Warm and humid today - - and smoke from the north. I am so sorry for the fires. So unfair. I wish we could have prevented them. We have hurt our beautiful earth in so many ways.... and we continue to do so.
