Dang! in Life As I Know It - 2022

So much going on that’s stressing me out.

Pats 100% better since his illness that put him in the hospital. Thank God for that.

2 weeks ago I was here on my own for the first time because the boss was on vacation. I learned that i really am pretty good at my job. Handled it like a champ and took on some extra responsibilities.

However while I was doing all that, one day our computers just completely died on us. I was on the phone with IT, and trying to handle incoming calls and had 5 customers waiting on me. Anyway, IT needed me to get the mac and serial numbers off all our equipment. Its all in a metal and glass shelf about 6’ off the floor. I looked around to see what the most stable thing to climb up on to get those numbers was a 2’x2’x2’ safe. So i got up on it and I lost my balance. My left leg went straight down the front of that safe. The dial and handle gouged my knee and left me with bruising from knee to ankle. By Friday it was hurting so bad I arranged to go to the urgent care the company uses to have it checked. I was afraid maybe I cracked the bone or something. They did xrays but thankfully nothing was broken. There was however a pretty significant hematoma right where I took the worst of my fall. She wrapped it with an ace bandage and told me to stay off it a week! Im like I cant take that much time off. So I agreed to stay off it all weekend, except for going to church, and took off just Monday.

Thats all healing up pretty good. It only hurts if i bump into something with it. Which is usually at least 3x/day lol.

So that was all stressful enough and the lack of sleep I had from working 10 hour days that week caught up to me.

Then comes Pats dad, telling us he has a gf and shes THE ONE. They talk 3-4 hours at a time 2-3 times a day. But it’s been 1 WEEK and they are both planning a wedding!!! They haven’t even had a first date yet. That’s going to happen on Thursday.

Im so sick of hearing about it all. I think its a huge mistake for a lot of reasons but especially because of how fast their doing things. It’s ridiculous and to be quite honest, even though I diagree with marriage THIS fast, Im ready to kick him to the curb because hes just irritating me so bad about everything!!!

Ugh!!!! And if this fricking rain doesn’t stop soon Im going to scream. Im really over that too.

Im hot, its Monday, and I got my damn period again. Im a bit on the bitchy side today.

Speaking of my period. I called and got scheduled for a preop consult for a hysterectomy. Thats July 11. So no idea when the actual surgery will be yet. Im over that too.
