Those are the wrong pictures but they’re nice and3clear.

Tomorrow I go to the doctor. My A1C is 6.3 and I’ve gained a vast amount of weight. I’m just going to see what the doc says and go from there. Life is what it is.

I guess that’s all I’ve got to say for now.

Oh wait - here’s the pup.

Abby is a cute (big) girl. So is Cara. They have the same color eyes. They might like each other. 🐶

Awww. Abby is adorable!

Life is what it is. I get tired of having diabetes sometimes. It's such a balancing act and rather tiresome. I don't mind the walking. And I don't often crave cookies and sweets. It's those damn crunchy carbs (this morning I'm craving pretzels) that do me in. But 6.3 is still very good!

I had missed you getting Abby ! She is very pretty !

She came from the Humane Society. She has been and is being a lovely dog. She came with the name Libby and I guess she is still Libby, but I call her Abby sometimes = and early on named her Abby here. She might be a dogonym.

:) Your pup looks like she has settled right in.
Gail's peonies are just starting to bud out, I'll be stealing a few flowers to dry.
Take care,

Thanks, too, for the pup.

Abby reminds me of a bandit with the black around her eyes. I think an off the shoulder Meghan look would suit you very well.

Hello to the Esthers.

They wish you well, as well.

Is the red thing a shamrock? I know we had a green-leafed version of that plant, but I don't remember why we don't have it anymore.

Hi Abby.

woman in the moon Serin ⋅ June 25, 2023

They are oxalis - friend in New Zealand digs them out of her garden because they are weeds. My mother had green leaved ones that had little pink flowers and we called them Oxie Alice. These I bought a pot of maybe 15 years ago. They die back and then come back - the bulbs you know. These red/purple leaved ones have cream color flowers. They are around in the flower shops, especially around March 17.
