My Three Losses Wednesday, February 25, 2004

September 23, 2003 My cousin Derrik died. With his death his mother, My Aunt Sue, cried. Not only did she cry over his death, but she screamed. Derrik was always a very special cousin to me. I babysat him when he was young for many years. I began to feel as though he was partly my own son. I know that sounds strange, but I spent many long days with him, his sister Rebecca, and his brother Kenny. I can't imagine how my Aunt Sue felt the day he died.

February 14, 2004 My Grandfather died. My father's dad. Both my mother and father cried. Slowly my family is going insane. Never in my life have I seen my family so low in my life. Until...

February 23, 2004 My cousin Kenny died. My Aunt Sue is now officially broken. My mother has gone insane, and I am numb. My aunt lost 2 sons in 6 months. I have lost 2 cousins and a grandfather. My mother lost 2 nephews and her father in law.

I write this for help. I need everyone that reads this to please pray for my family. Make a wish for us. My family needs strength, courage, and hope. It's dark and cold here. We need your help. I ask for your prayers. Please.

well i dont pray cause that would be wishing to the air, but i do hold you in my thouhgts and really hope things get better, but you have to understand death happens to all and dwelling on it will only consume you, best to move on but carry the memory of them, celebrate their lives, dont mourn their deaths, its gunna happen to everyone you know eventually, best to accept it and stay happy. 2/26/2004 12:26:51 AM

Sorry about your loss

Death is always part of life

and it's not the end of all

The memories and goodness of your love ones

will always live on in your heart

and shine upon your path [windhymn
