So Much in Life As I Know It - 2022

Using my phone so I dont know how much Ill actually write but theres a lot!

• Rylan - wow what a fantastic athlete this boy has become. This is his first time competing in a team sport. (Other than soccer as a child but I dont count soccer as a sport sorry not sorry). Anyway he runs the 100 yard dash, the 400 yard dash, and the 44 relay. Sometimes the 41 but not always. His best is the 400. He can run it in 52 seconds flat. Hes the best in his school. He went to district invitationals and got 2nd in the 400. That was against 8 schools. He was then invited to the regional meet. He competed against 26 different schools! He didn’t qualify for the 100. Its always his weakest event. He got 4th in the 400 with a speed of 55 seconds. Not only is he a great athlete but hes also an excellent student. He made honor roll 3 semesters. Hes stood up to a bully who was hurting a weaker student. He has a girlfriend we think. He doesn’t talk much about it but he has asked how much it would cost to take a girl to dinner and a movie. Hes going on a road trip to South Dakota with his sperm donors father when school lets out. He and Gary are very close and hes super excited about the trip.

• Azlynn - had to deal with some bullies on the bus. One boy smacked her leg hard. She told him to stop it. He did it again and just shut down until she got home. The next day there were several kids calling her “annoying azzy” and “cry baby azzy”. When the boy hit her another boy tried to get to her to protect her but the bus was too full, he was too far away. The day the kids were calling her names the sister of the boy who wanted to protect her stood up to them and made them quit. Now she sits right behind the driver, who hadn’t been aware of all of it to begin with.

• Zayden - is just Zayden. His reading has improved because they’ve finally diagnosed him with mild dyslexia and have figured out how to best teach him. He LOVES music class and plays violin. Apparently he’s getting decent with it. He requested extra help from the music teacher.

• Dad - his dementia is getting worse. Not really much more I can add to that.

• Pat - lost his job a month after we moved into this apartment. So it’s been on me to be the sole paycheck. Its been stressful. He finally got a job selling insurance. He took his state exam and has been working for State Farm for the past few weeks. He gets his first pay on Monday.

• Me - Still loving the job. Still having trouble with my knee. But then after 11 months, i got my period. For 21 freaking days!!!! Had another endometrial biopsy. Came back clear as always. So Im supposed to track my cycle for the next 3 months. If I have any more bleeding she’s going to discuss a hysterectomy.

I think I hit all the high points. Only took me an hour typing with just my thumb on this phone lol. Its why I dont write very often.
