I haven't told him that love him. I have never brought up the word love to him. Not once. He has never told me that he loves me. No, he has never brought up the word love to me. Not once.
However, we both know that we are in love.
I walked him home last night and tucked him in. He came over in the morning to see me off to work. We spent my lunch hour together. He's coming over after the game. He told me I made his birthday special. All I did was buy him lunch and a pair of shoes. He took my car and put air in the tires with out me asking him to. He brings me my favorite kind of pop every day, just because he knows what kind I like. He is taking me to Chicago in two weeks. He calls me to say goodnight. I call to make see if he needs anything. He holds me. He kisses me. I enjoy watching him while he is on the computer. He speaks sweetly and calmly to me. I believe in him, and let him know that. He likes my confidence. We light each other's fire.
There is no need to say I love you to him or for him to say it to me... We already know it.
