I just made lunch for the zoo animals here ;) Scarlet and Summer brought left over pizza, chicken alfredo, and corn on the cob. Lots of reheating there. I had to cut up Scarlet's into little bites. I made PB&H for Isaac and washed some grapes for him. Milo had PB&H toast with grapes. I'm ready for nap time, but I know the kids won't be... it's raining, again.... so we have been trapped inside all day. Mostly watching movies, playing toys, and painting.
I also made scrambled eggs and toast for the whole crowd this morning, except Isaac. He isn't much of an eater, and he said he'd already had breakfast. Still, eggs for 4 people is pretty intense... I think I made 8. Ross will be unamused when he realizes this.
Ross has been a major pain in the ass, per usual. He had a huge fit yesterday and called me crazy and said that I sat on my ass all day doing nothing. UHM... I had five kids to take care of, how could I have EVER just sat on my ass all day?? I did like three loads of laundry, and folded them, made lunch for 5 kids, put two down for naps, took them all to the lake to play at the beach, packed a picnic and snacks, found spare clothes for the kids that didn't bring swim gear, dug up buckets and shovels and other toys to bring along, found the sun screen and some spare towels and blankets, cleaned up the kitchen and Milo's room several times, cleaned the pool, found Milo's shoes (and then promptly lost them), visited with Jamie's mom and brought in all the hand me downs she brought us for Kasin, went through all the clothes and shoes she brought over with KP to pick out stuff that would fit and what not, finished packing Kasin's suitcase, gave Milo his meds on schedule (no small feat), fed the dog, assisted Milo and Scarlet in the bathroom about a thousand times, read a million books to the kids, gave Milo AND Scarlet a bath, including washing their hair....
Not to mention, once the kids were gone, I made a salad, put together plates for my two kids for dinner, put scalding pasta in the freezer for Milo who was STARVING RIGHT THAT MOMENT, made toast without cheese for Kasin, poured drinks, etc. You know, the 99 mom things that you do all the time, every day? Got Kasin in the shower, fixed his iMessage on his iTouch so he could text me from Texas, took the dog out to fetch so she'd calm down, cleaned up the yard and the basement....
Yanno? Just.. Ugh. Clearly I do nothing. CLEARLY.
He also had a fit that I used the last bagel to make toast for Kasin without cheese, because Ross had made toasted bagels covered in cheese, which Kasin did not like. Ross apparently had some sort of plan for that last bagel (which, by the way, Bubb had brought over the day before FOR ME...)
To be fair, I can't find my medication (happy pills for anxiety and OCD) and I've not had it for a couple weeks now, so I'm a fucking lunatic. I yell a lot without my meds. But I've definitely noticed some sexual side effects of that medication, now that I've been taking it for several years. I need to go back to "my" Dr (who I hate) at the sliding scale clinic to ask about trying something else, but she is wholly unpleasant and I need to renew my contract with them and show proof of income... I JUST found out some of my tax information (it took me forever to find it) so I could take that in, and now I just have to find a good time to run over there with my herd of children and let them copy the pages they need.
I'm also on the hunt for my student teaching certificate, it's like a temporary "license" to student teach, but it expired on June 30th anyways and I cannot find a copy of it.. I had to turn in a copy to Ladd when I started my internship, so I KNOW they have a copy of it, but it's summer now, so no one is in the office to ask for it.. I emailed the receptionist, but I'm sure I'll never hear back from her. :-\ Till like August. The school district wanted me to attach that certificate to my application for teaching positions, but I can't friggin find it, PLUS it's expired. ARGH! I don't have my real initial certificate yet, as my application was just received at the EED office and I'm sure they haven't processed it or issued the license/certif yet. HR rep for the SD told me the Student Teaching certif would serve in it's place until I get it in the mail.. argh. Too much CRAP... everywhere
