So Kirsten spoke to the principal of the elementary school yesterday about the situation I wrote about yesterday. He was shocked. He had no idea about CPS being called. He also checked Azzys attendance and saw that yes she did miss 13 days so far this year but every single one had a drs note and was excused. He has never smelled pee on her when hes spent any time with her, and he agrees every kid falls asleep at least once in their time. He agrees that none of this was reportable and didn’t know anything about it.

Then Tuesday after this mess with CPS azzy was on the merry go round at recess. The whistle blew to go in but the older kids wouldn’t stop it so she could get off. She kept yelling that she had to go in or shed be in trouble but they wouldn’t stop. The whistle blew for the older kids and she could finally get off and go in. She was in tears because she knew shed get in trouble. The teacher wrote her up and gave her an orange for behavior saying azzy “refused” to come in for recess.

Azzy was afraid to tell Kirsten because she gets time out at home when she has an orange or red from school. But she was in absolute tears while telling Kirsten what happened. We’re both so angry about this. The teacher is targeting her. We’re pretty sure it had to be her that called CPS. No proof. Just a feeling.

We have a meeting with the principal and teacher on Tuesday.

Ugh that sucks. So sorry she's being targeted.

Since I am a daycare teacher, I recognize what is happening with Azzy at school. Teachers that dont get along with a parent or doesnt like how a parent looks will target a child and find anything little bitty things to report. And that leads to not being the nicest to the child. I know it will hard but Kirsten needs to keep a smile on her face and be as nice as possible to get that teacher off her back. I hate this is happening to yall. We have a teacher that goes to college and works at the day care during the summer and she will target a parent like is happening to yall. then she wont be the nicest to the child since she is looking for something to report. Like she told me that the child told her she has certain nights for baths and doesnt bath every night. The teacher was horrified and now talks about how dirty the child is and that her mother doesnt know how to dress her (she wears mismatched tops and bottoms all of the time). All because she doesnt like the way the mother comes in to get her daughter and wont talk and be friendly. Thank goodness the sub is going to college to be a lawyer, not a teacher.

Its terrible to hear this kind of stuff. Kids get bullied by other kids enough. They dont need it from teachers too. And people wonder why theres so much gun violence in schools these days. I had no idea stuff like this goes on.
