The 2nd was 1 month of being Mrs Sullivan! Time sure has flown though! It’s been great.
We had to take an unexpected trip to CT on Monday and Tuesday. His uncle passed away. While it was a sad occasion it was really terrific to meet more of his family and his best friend.
Had a bit of an issue here at home today. We were having a good day. Decided to go to the store and get something to cook for dinner tonight. We got home with the groceries and Pat walks in the door and immediately slips and falls. HUGE pond of dog piss right inside the door because Kaitlyn and Sam are too damn lazy to take that dog outside. They just left him running around loose in the house when they left, which by itself has become an issue. But the fact that they hadn’t taken the dog out to pee all morning really pisses me off. Especially when Pat falls and gets hurt. We thought he broke his wrist. I drove him to an urgent care that has orthopedic walk-ins and xrays. Thankfully nothing was broken. It’s just badly sprained.
I was livid when it happened. I was actually shaking I was so mad. I texted her and told her what happened. She texted me back and was very apologetic and said she’d come home to crate the dog and clean up the mess. I told her I wasn’t mad at the dog. It wasn’t HIS fault he had to pee. It was THEIR fault for not taking better care of him. And that from now on, when they are not home, that dog is to stay downstairs. I made it clear he does NOT have to be crated, he just needs to stay down in their area when they aren’t home.
Apparently that pissed Sam off. He threw something at the car I gave them and broke off the side mirror. Dumbass. If he has ANYTHING to say when they get home tonight I’m putting his ass out on the street. I’ve completely had enough of their bullshit.
Kaitlyn was VERY apologetic, though the pessimistic side of me thinks it was just her trying to not get thrown out tonight rather then a real concern about her fathers well being. I’m trying to give her the benefit of the doubt though. She told me she never intended for anyone to get upset with them and she’s sorry Pat got hurt. I’m taking it at face value. I told her we know it wasn’t intentional but that she HAS to start putting that dog on a leash and walking him, and NOT just letting him out on the deck to do his business. She agreed that she hasn’t been very attentive lately.
So I’m leaving it at that. Unless that little bastard has something smart to say when they get home. Then all bets are off.
Kirsten and the kids got back from Florida a few days ago. She was burned BADLY on her left breast. She had sun poisoning and had a HUGE blister. It then broke open and peeled and started getting infected. I told her to get her ass to a doctor for some medication. They told her to keep vaseline on it and gave her an antibiotic to take orally. It looks a little bit better but not much.
Otherwise not a whole lot going on. My new job hasn’t started yet and I still don’t have a start date. My boss wanted to have a meeting with me this week, but the HR person never did call or email with a date and time. They need to get moving so I can get to work! We’re VERY low on funds at this point. After the unexpected trip to CT, groceries, gas, and then an unexpected urgent care expense, we’re down to less then $50 for the next few weeks until he gets his first pay.
Anyway, not really anything else going on around here. I’ll be back again at some point.

Hope they take better care of the dog now.
