Monday 05/02/22 in Lady Loves the Ocean

Good Morning Monday!!

I am trying to get back into the routine of coming here each day. When I get comments I tend to want to come and respond to them and then post an entry. So thank you to those that take the time to leave me notes. I really do appreciate it. I also love when someone new wants to read my OD. I don’t do it for others. But it is nice to get notes. And I get a lot of encouragement. Thank you!!

Monday Monday what a blah morning it is. Cloudy and gloomy yet again. It isn’t raining yet. But it will be later this afternoon. We just can’t get a break it seems. It is currently 46 degrees. The high by 3 p.m. is supposed to be 58. I hope it reaches that high. I want to try to get two walks in today. I have missed walking. There is rain expected Tomorrow, a break on Wednesday, and rain on Thursday and Friday. A 90% chance each day. I am not sure when my lawn will get mowed.

I didn’t make it to the library yesterday. We kept having downpours of rain and I didn’t want to go out in it. I am going to go this afternoon. I need to take several books back. And I have 2 waiting. I promised myself I would start spending less time on the computer. Today that isn’t going so well. Facebook is a time sucker for me. But I do have 6 Facebook groups that I run. So I post in them daily. And I have friends that talk to me on messenger. And it seems like I am always responding to something in the groups. It’s not a bad thing. I just need to balance out my time better. And I think once the weather gets better I will. I will be outside more.

“American Idol” was ok last night. It was Disney-themed. For some reason, the live feed kept going in and out and the voices were not matching up with the faces. That was frustrating. And then the last two contestants there was no volume at all. It had to have been my dish feed. I should have watched it on Youtube tv. ABC still isn’t broadcasting correctly. But anyway. I was disappointed that Lady K didn’t make it. The rest that I wanted to make it did. It is on again tonight. I want Noah Thompson to win.

I really need to concentrate on purging some clothes. I know I have a lot of things that no longer fit. And I have been at the same weight now for a few years. So I think it is safe to let these clothes. They are in really good condition. I might try to take some to a consignment store and see if I can’t get some credit. If not the goodwill or maybe the women’s shelter. I have so much clutter I can get rid of.

Ok, now I am just rattling on here. Time to end this and get something done other than sit in front of the computer. I think a walk is a good plan. Work off the energy from the second cup of coffee I didn’t need.
