Dan called.
I was listening to Thelma Huston’s “Don’t leave me this way”, and sipping on an extra-sweet cup of coffee.
He said he was getting nervous about the trip to Shanghai. He asked me if I was taking a suitcase or just carry-on.
I told him I hand’t thought about it yet. I’ve been busy, clearing off my next two weeks.
Dan said, “It must be lunchtime there”.
Quite the conversationalist, I thought. I’ve met Dan twice.
We talked some more and then ended the call.
I put on a Stevie Wonder CD and finished my coffee.
