Discussions and In Laws… in Life Lessons

So me and my husband had a discussion last night - my in laws are coming for an extended weekend next weekend…. Yay me…. So I told my husband we need to get this resolved and he says that they treat everyone that way so I’m basically stuck with it…. He says he will “throw a fit” about it later… but that conversation got us started about when we have kids…. All he kept saying was we will cross that when we get there… it annoys me… this is a pretty normal conversation to have right? Once I’m pregnant it will be too late… he also says we can’t have my mom and not his cause it’s not fair…. We have thought about having an at home birth and he says they can just come and hang out at our house (he wants to tell them as soon as labor starts) (I want to wait till it’s all over, then they can head this way(2 hour drive)) I told him I don’t want them in my house at all because it makes me nervous… then we got to talking about when our kid is here… his parents have dogs in the house (they aren’t super clean) (dog hair everywhere) I told my husband I don’t want my baby left on the floor with dogs and he says he don’t want our baby to be a wuss… I think it’s fair to wait until 6 months when the baby can sit up on its own…
My husband thinks I’m just overreacting and overthinking everything…

I think you should have all the say because when it comes down to it it's you that is going through all that work and it will be you that will be feeding and changing the diapers. And as far as the in laws go I would not have them anywhere near the baby till it has all of its shots and vaccines.....
I hate men like your husband( not your husband but men like him)because they can not see the bigger picture.
