We Did: A 20-minute video chat. He was still at his office! It’s funny because he’s a therapist and I sat in the same exact location where I have my video therapy with my real therapist. Felt kind of like a session.
He Looked: He’s very handsome. I could only see from the top of the torso and up. He’s cute and bald and looks very sophisticated.
I Looked: From the top of my torso up…I was wearing a gray sweater embellished with pearls and red lips. Nothing else was really a call-out.
Convo: Brief. We didn’t get into the politics of why he’s not vaccinated, but I asked if he’s had Covid and he said yes, he’s already had it. I kept my stance and he kept his.
UPDATE: I realize I forgot to tell you why he isn’t vaxxed (or at least what he told me). He said he chose not to get the covid vax because he nearly died of anaphylaxis as a child and he didn’t want to risk dying. Hm. He said he’s gone round and round with his doctor and still chooses not to vaccinate because of that fear. Interesting for a therapist, hm?
High Point: He’s super cute and very well spoken and listens very well. There wasn’t a super high point.
Low Point: Knowing I’m not going to change his mind about the vaccine.
How It Ended: He was tired and needed to go home. I had no idea he was going to be working until 8pm, the time of our call. He asked if we could chat again and I said yes, but I’m not sure that this will go anywhere.
Chances Are: Meh. I think he feels the same. We were both very polite, but I don’t know how this could possibly turn into something.
