We sold the house! There wasn't much of a question that it would happen, but regardless it's very nice to have it settled. The money has been deposited into my account so that part is done. And my ties with Chris are officially severed. We have a few more checks to cash and then we are done. Part of me wishes I felt some kind of sadness over that, but it's pure relief.

And tomorrow is my home inspection, followed by a sending-off party at roomie's employer. I'm taking the day off work for it all. Of course I'll have to wake up even earlier than I normally would in order to make it to the inspection on time (it's at eight). And with Monday being Memorial Day, I didn't even realize that it was a four-day weekend.

Other events this weekend include getting together with my family on Monday for my birthday, which is still a week and a half away, and traveling to visit roomie's family (just his sisters) on Sunday. Not a lot of down time now that I think about it.
