- Massive swimming pools beneath the Middle Eastern stars.
- Lazing beside them in evening desert gales.
- Defunct 'new' airports submerged in sand, looking like archeological discoveries.
- The turquoise waters of the Persian Gulf, as vivid as I used to dream.
- Flying over a forest in the desert.
- Scrumptious dahl at my 2nd-favourite Indian restaurant (1st favourite - Wellington, NZ).
- Empty aeroplanes!
- Encountering lawyers in jeans and funky sunshades.
- The reintroduction of oxygen to my brain thanks to a brutal but brilliant massage.
- Free internet at international airports.
- Wandering through desert sand in the middle of a city.
- Soft, yet firm, hotel beds.
- Evening inspirations.
