Weekend in Day by day

Home from my weekend away in Blackpool. Exhausted but content. The weather was wild. With strong winds cold wind but who cares when your having fun.

We had no plans for our time away so we did what ever we felt like. For once we kept clear of the main attraction choosing to use a daily pass on the trams to travel to Fleetwood and other places on the route. We kept ourselves busy and our minds active. So home happy and content and looking forward to next years Blackpool trip already.

Was very shocked to find that some Blackpool Hotels allow smoking in the rooms. We had been put in a smoking room, so asked to be moved. They struggled to find us a room as 2 of the 3 floor were smoking floors. In the end we settled for an upgraded room free of charge as it was a twin and not a double. Hey I would have a sea view over a double room any day. It was amazing to look out at the raging sea.
