Almost 2 years since I’ve written?
Pickle is 8, finally started a private school on a special needs scholarship. Meds have been a game changer for him, as well as ABA therapy and a social skills group that he just started.
Boo will be 4 in October. How time flies.
I am back in another corporate job. Almost a year. I like (liked?) what I do, but I’ve been depressed when I;m there lately. I’ve fallen out of love with it. My therapist suggested I start doing something for me a couple hours a week; otherwise I will go insane with all my responsibilities and frustrations in my marriage. I thought about getting back to my writing, which morphed into thinking about getting back in freelance writing with an end goal of quitting my job and working full time for myself, So I’m taking an intensive freelancing class (not telling my husband how much I’ve spent until I make back the investment) and getting excited about the possibilities there. Taking the time to really dig in is a challenge, as it is hard to find any time between working and taking care of the kinds and the million other things that need attention. For once I want to achieve a goal, so here I go.

Really do need something to do outside of work.
My dad taught school and raised cows. I hated cows.
