Shaking head while sighing in General musings

So. F calls....acts like nothing is wrong or has changed. No acknowledgment of either email or text...makes general conversation but asks how I am doing. Is calm sounding for him..but not depressed at least not blatantly ..talks about the car repairs and how he cleaned the garage this morning and other little "updates"-like how he is thinking of renting a chainsaw (at least he realizes I am not running there with mine -or maybe that was a test to see if I offered ..at any rate ..it sure didn't help....
