Happy birthday. in Other life events.

Dad's birthday today, 20 years without him and i can't help but think about how proud he would be of the immense failure i've become!

On a more serious note this week has been very productive and very good to me, from winning 20 pound on a scratch card to doing a lot of work on the car and getting closer to my goal. I also bought some more of those 4 spoke wheels i sold for £200, i got them for £56 and they are even better than the old ones, they where recently refurbished so i simply wont even have to do any work on them to sell them.

I finished refurbishing my ronal kleeblatts, they are really rare, they where very rough but they have turned out quite well, they are not perfect by far but it was a lot of backache to make them even look this good.

Picture of the axle finally removed. I dismantled it and found the differential to be in perfect condition, which was a brilliant surprise.

And after, finished in Metallic bronze with gloss black detailing inside the spokes with a final clear coat for even more glossy gloss.

Like i said, they ain't perfect but you can't complain for £70 with tires since part worns are £20 a corner.

Weigh in is this Friday and i have been working super hard focusing on my cardio and eating around 500 calories a day, Sean on the other hand has had 2 takeaways and i'm actually kind of disappointed! I've been offered strawberry milkshakes and seen Ben & Jerrys on offer this week with 65% off and resisted my temptation and urges and passed it all up!

I'm very excited for Friday anyway, i can't wait to finish up this axle and show you the progress i've made, it will look awesome i hope :) Lots of money well spent on the axle and time refurbishing it these past couple of days so once the welding is done i can paint the underside and put it back together.
