sometimes life is hard, and sometimes its harder. last Friday abbie took a bunch of blood pressure pills and had to be taken to the hospital and be in suicide watch. they after 48 hours they felt it necessary to discharge her as she was no longer suicidal. well, they called her passive suicidal. she likes to entertain the thought and even the act, but always has herself in a place she will be seen and rescued. she said she had chest pain, later the same day, Sunday, called 911 and had them take her to a different hospital. she called me and asked me to come there. i did

the did 3 ekg's. a couple hours apart each. the first 2 she was having pvc's. not a lot, but they were happening. one of her labs was off. they thought she might have a blood clot in her lung, so they did a cat scan. it didn't show any clots. I gave them the discharge papers from the hospital. they made a copy and gave them to the er docs. I was told they were keeping her the night. i also told the she needs mental health review.

I got home at 10pm. might have been 10:30. the phone rang at 11:45 and it was the hospital. i didn't answer. they left me a message. please phone them back, it was a mental health person to talk to me about Abbie. They told me she didn't fit the criteria for being held against her will. i asked if she had refused admission. he told me that he couldn't tell me, it's a privacy issue. then he went on to say, at least 10 times, that i could go to probate court and petition the court to have her held for observation for 72 hours.

i wasn't happy. not a happy mother, in my heart and soul i feel she will not live a long life. she will be successful at suicide. maybe it will be a drug overdose, accidently. i did share that with him. he wanted to brush it off and make it a court issue. i did tell him i am an RN, and i have a sister who is RNBSN C-mental health. she has been for 30 years and works for community mental health on the other side of the state. she would flip her wig ( she doesn't really wear one). she knows abbie should be in the hospital.

during all the these happenings, i had a house full of family putting up the wooden swingset i bought for the kids. on sunday i had 7 grandchildren here ranging in ages 12 months to 12 years. that includes the 2 that live here. i was to have a cookout and feed the family. i did get the groceries bought and mostly put away. i had sprayed the grill with googone for ovens and grills. i asked noah's wife to finish cleaning it. you would have thought i had asked the princess of Ann Arbor to clean the grill. is it really difficult to rub a brush on the surface of the inside and rinse it out. not a huge deal. arghh

that was yesterday. today i had to go pick Kylie up from school and bring back all her things back here. she has moved home until she goes abroad to study, where ever that will take her. she had class today and had to work. i arrived there at 6:30pm and we left at 8pm. kids were hungry and tired. stopped for McD's and got right back on the road. kids ate all their meals. they were really hungry. yay! glad they ate well.

they didn't go to sleep till 10 and 10:30.

it's almost midnight.

i need to sleep.

i haven't even mentioned that she has a boyfriend all of a sudden and he is on parole and is tethered!!

more to come, how do i know this won't end well.
