There are some things that are better left alone. The problem is many times we don’t know it until after the fact. And then it’s too late.
I have spoken to several folks over the years who had back surgery and said they felt worse after the surgery. You never know how your body is going to react when it is invaded by a foreign body.
I recently had a double tendon release on my right hand. My fingers would just lock up and I would have to grab them a pull them back into an upright position. They only hurt when they locked up. Now 6 weeks post-surgery and they are still swollen and I have about 50% mobility with nearly constant pain. I am sure my age has something to do with it.
Of course, my surgeon told me that my odds were 50/50 that the surgery would help. But when your fingers are locking in place you’ll take your chances and hope for the best. Alex, let’s try, “Should Have Known Better” for $1000.

I am new here and saw you on the front page.
I have a question for you? Do you think physio would help for your fingers?

I am not sure. The doctors said it could take up to 6 months for any noticeable improvement.

I would do what the doctor says ,well the specialist says because they know better and I do know that some things takes years to heal like frozen shoulder. I hope your back heals and won't hurt as much.
