Generation E in Life After 60

I am a baby boomer, which means, I am really close to retirement. Had I planned better I would have already retired but alas at 21, 65 was a long way off and I had plenty of time. Flash forward to 62 and I don’t have too much time left. I paid as much attention to retirement as I did my health. I mean at 21 I was invincible. Not so much these days.
Growing up I knew hardships. I also knew that if you touched a hot stove it would burn me. I grew up with guns and knew not to point one at anything I didn’t intend to kill. I watched Bugs Bunny, Elmer Fudd, Daffy Duck, and the Road Runner. I was smart enough to know the coyote couldn’t build a trap for the Road Runner let alone survive being blown up by TNT.
My son-in-law told me something the other day I found interesting. “Millenials are terrible parents.” I didn’t need a disclaimer to warn me not to do dangerous things. Today we have to have in big letters, “Contents may be hot and cause severe burns” on a cup of coffee.
Just this weekend a guy has a bad day and goes on a killing spree. If I did that when I had a bad day, I would have been gone a long time ago. People do not want to be responsible for their actions. Like the cartoon, some of the nut jobs think, hey I can shoot Daffy Duck in the face and all it will do is turn his bill sideways.
We have failed to educate a generation. I fear to think what my great grandchildren will be like.

I think because us baby boomers didn't have all of this techno stuff we were forced to do things the old fashioned way and all we had was the wisdom our parents gave us and also our grandparents. But now people are having children much later in life and because of that all the wisdom and traditions get lost . I reall hate to see what the future generations will be like.

the McDonalds coffee thing: that seems like a great example but she got 2nd degree burns the coffee was too hot also she was old at the time like older than you are now

better example: tide pods not for consumption

on frivolous lawsuits : coffee spilling elderly woman vs repeat offender illegally selling ciggis then refuses police directions then catches a heart attack (or whatever) while being subdued by police .... maybe his fat ass should have stfu and put his hands up lawyers are for explaining not officers ... idk how much his family got but it's more than he would've ever made in a lifetime
