Working from home today.
I started taking medication for hypertension last week.
I’m relatively young, thin, I exercise, I eat okay, I rarely drink, I journal. My life is busy, but not as stressful as it could be. I suppose in that case I have only genetics to blame.
I have an appointment with a cardiologist next week, but I doubt they’ll find anything abnormal. I’ve had many EKGs, they’ve all been normal. Fortunately.
Sometimes it just so happens that you are the statistical outlier.
I wonder in how many other ways I am, besides having an identical twin (although this isn’t all that rare compared to other things).
Still, I like the thought that my body houses bacteria and viruses that are unknown to science (really, it’s true for everyone).

My brother has this too. Has since his late 20s. Sometimes like you said, a statistical outlier. Although he eats and drinks like crap...
