What I Said vs. What I Thought in Procrastination Journal

A classmate asked me if I was parked close, and when I said no, that I was just going to walk, feeling sorry that I can't give him a ride he comes back with, "Is it late enough that you need an escort?" What I said: "No" What I thought: "What the fuck kind of question is that?" Ok maybe he was trying to be a gentleman or something. But I don't understand the whole concept of needing protection when you're walking across the street in a well lit area. I haven't got anything to steal or rape, jeez.

Just like last month when Sasha asked me, "Are you ready for St. Patrick's Day?" I was just like, "What? How does one prepare for St. Patrick's Day?" Like, it's barely a holiday. I understand that some people might have to get ready for Valentine's Day or Independence Day and other Days I don't really do anything for. But St. Patrick's Day? How does a normal, non-bar-owning person get ready for St. Patrick's Day? It was funny haha, and I still remember it. Haha. Tat tickles me.

But why did my classmate ask me if I wanted an escort? Weird, irksome, confusing, not funny or tickly.
