Progress in New Beginnings

I made an offer on a condo this week. It's a two bed two bath with 1,200 square feet of living space. It's in Alpharetta, about 10 minutes north of my office. It's also been recently remodeled. You can see the listing here.
Be it so humble, they'll be no place like home, especially my first home I ever bought on my own. It's just enough space for me. It has a roommate layout, meaning the bedrooms are on opposite sides of the apartment with the common area (kitchen, dining area, & living room) in between. Each bedroom has it's own full bath and walk in closet. I could rent out the other room and actually make money instead of just saving on not having rent, but I think I'd like to live alone for a little while. Quite frankly, I need to have my own living space; I don't think I can take my cramped bedroom any more. Compared to where I live now, that place is going to feel like a mansion. Well, it will feel like a mansion if I actually get it. I'm waiting to get a response on my offer. My realtor said that the amount I wanted to give as an initial offer was too strong, so at his advice, I gave a lower one, expecting that we will negotiate up from there. I'm just dying to have my own space.
In other news, I actually completed the quarterly reporting package on my own. That's right, I cleared out all the blocking errors myself. I have no idea if how I cleared the final few errors was the correct thing to do, but it sort of made sense, so I decided to roll with it. The deadline was yesterday, which I just made, but that only leaves me with one day (Monday) to resolve the intercompany AR and AP balances. Thankfully, my new manager resolved all those while I was clearing out the blocking errors. He doesn't know how make the adjustments in the reporting package, so hopefully, we can get that completed Monday, and we'll be finished.
Speaking of my manager, I showed him the upload process, which he found distressing. Particularly, he was bothered by how many of the errors need to be corrected after I upload the data. He wants to alter the upload file so that the there are only maybe 40 errors as opposed to 200. That sounds all well and good, but it's going to be a pretty serious project to do so. It'll certainly make things worse before they get better, but at least things will eventually get better.
