Today was so long. Went and did the Lil Lady then went to the workman's comp. doctor and sat there for almost 2 hours. I had to go. There is no choice. Then came home walked the dogs real quick and fed them got ready for work and got off work at 10.
K called me and complained of her first day already. She said the guy training her kept using his cell phone. That would annoy me too. I would have personally said something. Plus she didn't bring a notebook with her. Me, I travel with a notebook. I told her I am not going to let her attitude effect me. I feel in my heart I am doing the right thing. This week alone they got rid of 3 people. Janice, some black chick and Janice's sister - in - law and there still cutting hours. They make someone leave one half hour early out of each shift or start a half hour late. Now we have to clock out for lunch which is fine by me. I don't care. I spoke to my new boss today and you get paid for 8 straight hours so that's good. This 35 hours a week thing sucks. Your missing 10 hours a pay check. So I am moving forward. At least it feels that way to me. I'm not afraid. Where I am at now is scary just all the way around. Sigh. I wish I could I could tell the truth what about what happens in places like where I work. We have med techs who leave meds in residents rooms, we have bruises that just "happen" - One guy and I say this oh so loosely had his walky in the "V" of his scrub and he tried to pivate a resident and he fell with her on top of him and the atena of the walky went up into her mouth ( ya that's right) and gave her 5 stiches and her whole face looks like she was in a bar fight even her kneck was black and blue. Today I see the douche with the walky again placed in the "V" of his scrub along with a knecklace with a center piece made of metal that came down to a sharp point. It's like really. He must be someones relative there.
So here is my plan I am going to give this new opprutunity a chance and see what happens. It is privately owned. There are only 75 residents and we have a shower aid. Plus I am working with my old boss who I really enjoyed working with. We will see. Now I am heading toward milk and cookies. I am blessed. We all are. Good night to all and to all a good night.
