alt textalt textI went into this first Virtual Comic Con with no expectations. Much to my surprise, I discovered everything but the crowds at hand much the same. I came home much cheered. The flight in the first virtual air ship was perfect. Later the Panel on Art of the Holocaust was even better. George tells me that this Comic Con wasn’t quite as good as a regular Comic Con. He missed the people and the over-the-top-confusions.

It’s a pretty good substitute though !

Marg July 27, 2020

Oh that’s great - I didn’t think it would be as good without the atmosphere from the crowds! Is that last one Forrest Gump?

MageB Marg ⋅ July 27, 2020

Yes, it is. :)

We’re attending WorldCon remotely starting today. Should be interesting. (I was tempted to make signs for the back bedroom and living room as though they were meeting rooms in some convention hall.)

It is very gratifying to hear that there are some positives related to the online Comic Con. What does it cost to participate that way?

MageB NorthernSeeker ⋅ July 29, 2020

Nothiing at all. not one cent.
