My energy is returning. Not sure if has anything to do with the amazing weather we had this weekend or that its now its been about since a month that the young buck left or something else…but it feels good to have energy again. I told the Dr at my Prozac appt that I didn’t hate it, but that I have been feeling super low on energy and even slept in til 3pm one Sunday, which is REALLY out of the ordinary for me. I also mentioned that I honestly wasn’t sure if its just the way of the current world that’s affecting me, if its a poor diet, if its the Prozac or something else entirely. The one good thing about the Prozac though is that I feel less likely to do something impulsive and stupid. Running away is no longer on the radar. So we agreed to give it a little bit more time. She wants me to switch the time of day I take it and then contact her in two weeks to see if that helps and if my body just needed a little more time to get used to it. Then we’ll decide if its something I should stay on or try something new.
So anyway! I got out for my first hike since the last hike with The Young Buck. I went to Lake Angeles and then went up to Hurricane Ridge at Olympic National Park on Saturday. It was a perfect day for it
Face coverings are required inside Olympic National Park, but I only pulled it up when I came across other hikers.
Then on Sunday I went paddleboarding for like only the 2nd time this entire summer. I’ve spent the majority of the last 2 summers out on my paddleboard. But this summer I just haven’t had any interest in it. My friend even commented on it. “Why don’t you like paddleboarding any more?” Do be fair, I’ve done a lot of skating this summer, which I didn’t do the past two summers. Yesterday felt really good though. Mount Rainier was out in all her beauty. Me and two friends paddleboarded out to a lighthouse I previously didn’t know existed until yesterday
Excuse me while I sound petty for a moment: Why would anyone leave this for Ohio?
