Today is going to be interesting...I can only imagine the rumors that flew around that place while I was gone. Not that I really care. Made some phone calls this a.m. to the house guy and to the physical therapy people. Might as well take advantage of it - it's free and I might learn something.
While I was taking care of my Lil Lady I got a call an here it was from K wishing me luck for today. I "must" remmber to be an actor and play my part well and I will. Told K what happened to me yesturday with Gina and she was a lil upset. She went there weeks ago and there was no opening. That I can't help. Then she is upset that my home health agency can't hire her till she has her c.p.r. and some other things that you need to get in order to work for them or for that matter any agency. When we use to work together at cracktown she use to brag how she would never ever be a cna - she is only a r.a. and that is a resident aid and that is phasing out because of too many lawsuits due to abuse. That's fine. But you do get benefits like continuing education such as cpr renewel ect. for free just so you can stay with the company. She never did that. So now she is more or less stuck for 2 months till her social security kicks in. I never planned on yesturday happening but I look at it as a gift. For them to pay my health insurance by giving me an extra $140 a month on top of the extra $50 how can I say no? Only 75 residents and no lock down unit? Swueeet! If you become a problem child your gone. It is privately owned. There is a waiting list to get in. That says something. I am so blessed. I am not going to allow K rain on my sunshine. She got herself fired. Oh well. Life goes on in mysterious ways.
Soon I have to get ready for work. Yea me. More later mayby - mayby not.
