While I have thankfully repaired my relationship with my dad, I had three role models growing up: Spock, Weird Al, and Fonz.

I feel like I mastered Spock for a time. Calm, cool, logical, but also capable of emotion. Weird Al, a sense of creativity and free spirit.

But then there is Arthur Fonzarelli. Be cool. Always on the top of his game. Intimidating, yet good. Remember: Fonzie never hit anyone. And if he raised his voice, it was to deescalate or for comedic value.
