Knives Out (indie film #2) in Independent Film 2020

Again, with this film, I’m not sure it is actually an indie film- Rian Johnson is a fairly well-known director since that Star Wars movie. But, he did start out as an indie filmmaker (and beloved of my fave podcast, Filmspotting).
I knew I’d love this movie- the political underlying message was just up my alley. It made me wonder if that aspect of the movie went over anyone’s head.
Still waiting for baby- next movie i will try to see is Portrait of a Lady on Fire- a French film i’ve heard raves about.
