I feel lucky to have seen this film. It was on many top 10 lists last year but was not widely accessible. Indian film full of grace and light and longing.

Indie Film #8- Mickey 17

It was not weird enough. I felt like this movie was trying to portray a message, but… it didn’t go far enough.


What an amazing movie! My kiddo and I have now read the books- she keeps listening to them over and over on audio. Highly recommended.

One of the best movies I have seen in a long time. Goodness, I love architecture with movies. And the score….. I could gush.

I know people adore Singing in the Rain, it is considered, by some, to be one of the best movies ever.... But I loved The Umbrellas of Cherbourg..... possibly because I am melancholy at heart....


My first venture into Agnes Varda. People adore this film, I liked it but really I did not get it. I think it requires a better understanding of film.


I’ve heard this is one of the best movies of all time. I did enjoy it, but expected more singing and dancing in the beginning! I guess I was thinking of a stage musical where all words are sung....
