I ended up applying for disability and got approved (if that’s the correct word) as disable and received payments RIGHT after I got hired for a welding job. After waiting so long and thinking I wasn’t going to ever hear from social security, I kind of forgot anyway, I ended up applying for a job because I need to pay for a citation and figured I wouldn’t be working for long anyway. I just needed the money for that one thing.
