I had a few possible names in mind for this book…

“The let’s-see-how-many-entries-I’ll-write-this-time book” (Seriously, only ONE entry in my last book?! I know I could have just added to the “Spring Has Sprung” book but spring is long gone. Moving on.)

… but the one that stuck the most was “The Season of Letting Go”. Why? Because it’s what I’m working on in this ‘season’ of my life. I’m painfully trying to let go of my baby who’s starting school this fall. Gotta give my baby wings to fly into the world! I’m also struggling with letting go of MY dreams in order to allow for God’s dreams for me to unfold. I’m getting tired of this tug-of-war game where I’m trying to take matters into my own hands. I shouldn’t even call it ‘tug-of-war’ really ‘cause God isn’t fighting me for control. Rather, he’s been sitting on the sidelines, watching me make a mess of this ‘game’ called my life. Patiently waiting to be called into the game. Ok, God, do your thing then. I’m ready to be blown away by your mad skills :)
