It was kewl!

It was cold!

The moon was not shiny!

The sun was bright at night!

There was dirt where I walked!

There was snow where I looked!

There was a volcano, Mt. Erebus, and there was a cloud of steam gently floating
above her!

There was a halo above her!

There was lotsah ice!

There was lotsah snow!

There were no seagulls!

There were penguins about!

The penguins looked like they were wearing tuxedos!

There were killer whales looking for the penguins!

The sun was bright… even at night!

The waters of the channels were calm!

The waters of the channels were like mirrors reflecting the deep blue sky and the
snowy, mountainous backdrop!

It was beautiful and I will never forget it!

There were no cats, and there were no dogs!

There were very few women there!

There were trucks, but no cars!

There were big, heavy, dark, fat seals… Weddell Seals!

There was a cabin!

The cabin was a very old cabin!

Someone named Shackleton built the cabin a long time ago!

There was still food, canned food in the cabin!

The sun was very bright and the volcano was still steaming!
