An Option in 2014

Not much to say. I have an interview at PaperSource tomorrow morning. The lady I talked with threw me for a bit of a loop though because she asked me to bring samples of my creativity. And all I'm thinking is, I haven't had the money to make much lately. For example I always wanted to learn how to emboss but the embossing equipment is expensive. I like making soap but again, supplies cost money. I like to make jewelry but nice beads are expensive. I used to hand make cards but again, accessories are expensive :(

She said even if I had photos to bring those. Most of my creative endeavors are for other people with just a few exceptions, and I don't think to take photos of gifts I've wrapped or packages I've made. I love stickers and paper and stationary and pens and glitter and all that kind of stuff. I just... I haven't had time or money to do much lately. So we'll see what happens. I'll round up what I can and hope my personality speaks for itself.

Also, some progress on the future front--Cori was accepted to University of Minnesota. So that's a concrete option ! And actually, despite the fact he doesn't particularly want to stay in MN, I prefer that to Seattle. He's settled and has a job in MN, he got his BA from U of M, he has friends and contacts there, etc... And I myself have a few cousins who live there and then the rest of my relatives live in central Wisconsin.

Still waiting on everything else, but that's an option and it was an option I was perfectly excited to have (hell, I almost moved to MN in October) so that makes me happy.

I hope my interview goes well. If she offers me a job, I'll accept. Even 10 hours a week is better than what I have now, which is nothing.
