Not much happening here lately. Going back to work the end of April till hopefully just November. Our son will be home in November until February doing his pharmacy rotation. Looking forward to that, and would love to spend as much time with him as possible. Who knows where he will move once he is done with school.
Went to the nursing home yesterday to visit my aunt, her husband died and the funeral was last weekend. She is doing very well and loves the nursing home. She will be 89 in May and is sharp as ever. Remembers birthdays, peoples names, everything. It's so fun to talk to her. We have to go thru the house and get her stuff out. She was married for 47 years and we found a 4 foot by 4 foot Gaylord upstairs. I looked thru it and it had new towels, new pans, new rugs. I couldn't figure it out. So I opened a box and inside was a wedding card from there wedding. She never used anything in it. I felt so bad wondering why she wouldn't use the items. I can't believe after 47 years they were still packed up. Who knows how long it was sitting there? I just don't understand it.
She likes to save stamps off of envelopes when they come. She says people save them. She has a room she shares in a nursing home and she wants to hoard newspaper and everything. My sister took three boxes of stuff out of there. She was watching her like a hawk. But wouldn't say much. They whole family is hoarders and I just don't understand it. I guess it's in the way you were raised.
Anyway raining today. But now they are saying up to 2" of snow tomorrow. Can we just be done with winter already. This is like the winter that never ended.
