So much alike, but Different in Life After 60

I grew up like most boys, thinking girls, (women) were all alike. They each liked romance, kissing, holding hands, flowers, compliments and Chivalry . Flash forward 50 years, man was I ever wrong.
Hang on folks it’s going to get real up in here. After my divorce I did a lot or research on marriage and relationships. I had some eye opening experiences. Some of it rather entertaining at times.
Let’s take romance for instance. Seems harmless on the surface, but what men fail to realize, romance means something different to each woman. Ask 5 women what their idea of romance is, you will get 5 different answers. And that confuses men. We think when you say romance we are not paying enough attention to you, which we will protest we are you just don’t appreciated it.
Funny thing is, women pretty much have men figured out. Romance to a man? Sex…simple. Do you see where this is going Ladies? Men think romance means sex. Okay to be fair there are some men out there who have learned to think differently.
If the guy in your life isn’t talking much, the cure? Yes, you guessed it. It is at that point, most men will talk. Not a lot but they will talk. Keeping them awake may be a challenge!
The best advise I have ever found was in the following books. “Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus”, “Venus and Mars on a date”, and “Venus and Mars in the bedroom.” And it is true women speak a language men do not understand.
While women can be doing three things at once and still know what each child is doing and where the lost socks are, men are terrible at it. We do one thing at a time, and sometimes we don’t even do that well. And just as an added bonus here, Ladies, men don’t take hint’s well. You have to spell it out for us. Unless you want sex, then we pick up on that hint quickly.
