Disclaimer: Ladies, I do not in any way believe that sexual assault and harassment is ever appropriate. Having said that I will continue with my rant! Carry On Ladies.)

This whole #metoo movement is a little over the top. Yes, I know I just lost 90% of my readers. Granted, men are PIGS. Yes, I said it and I will admit it. However, there needs to be a statue of limitations on some of this. I am sorry but if it takes you 40 years to come forward, and then only after someone is running for Public Office, it seems a bit shady to me!
Maybe Bill Cosby is a sex pervert, Harvey Weinstein, well he is typical Hollywood! When you play with fire you will get burned. But that does not give anyone the right to force themselves on anyone. Rape, sure charge them, convict them, cut off their male genitals. But the harassment after a certain number of years, come on.
The world has changed since I was in school. Things we used to say and do will now land you in Federal Housing for a long time.
Add to that, the "That Offends Me" movement. Grow Up, your stupidity offends me, but you don't hear me complaining to have you put where I don't have to see you. Merry Christmas offends you, Don't say it, but don't take away my rights to say it.
Let's face it...The #METOO movement wasn't started to help the faceless victims in nowhere USA, it was for the Rich and Famous, Hollywood types who buy and sell their way out of trouble on a daily basis.

As a women I completely agree. Unless you say something at the time, that's on you.

It is a thin line I will admit. No woman should have to put up with that, REGARDLESS. It gives what few gentlemen there are left a bad name. I work for a public school system and I am afraid to even tell a woman she looks nice or compliment her perfume for fear of being charged with something. Thanks for your comment.

I agree with you. Many of these women put them into the place and the position for what happened happened. Yes, the man should not have taken advantage but I would say most of the women felt they would get a benefit in some way. And don't expect me to feel sorry for you or really believe you when you come forth to harm a man's reputation when it become politically profitable to do so.

And that is my whole point. It would be like some of my former girl friends coming forward now to say I took advantage of them just to ruin my life. Sad, but then there are cases where women were victims and the guy needs to pay.

Well, it's complicated. Always was, always will be.
You're right of course though. And so is she.

Everything is complicated these days. Relationship status on Facebook, it's complicated, which normally means one or both are married and cheating but I digress. I would never want to say that some women don't use good common sense when dealing with men, but as I said, men are pigs, and women know it.
