I thought I'd take a minute or two and update y'all on Abigail and Austin's latest adventures.

Austin is actually home with me today. He had a little cold, but with him it rarely stays "just a little cold." His immune system is crap. I took him to urgent care this morning, as I was certain he had developed bronchitis overnight. I was right, unfortunately. He's in good spirits, though. He's watching Finding Nemo at the moment, rubbing his tongue over the new gap in his teeth. He lost his 3rd tooth about an hour ago! It's funny because his top front tooth has been loose for a month, but that's not the one he lost today. It was a bottom tooth (next to the front ones he's already lost). I had no idea that one was even loose. Silly. I'm hoping that all these dental changes factor into the reason he's been spitting so much lately. It's a terrible stim to have, and quite embarrassing when he does it in public. I'm constantly wiping things down that he's smeared his spit on lol. He's also been happy screaming. It's most funny when he does it in the middle of the grocery store and scares the pants off nearby unsuspecting patrons hahaha.

Abigail is a busy girl these days. She recently got her report card, and I was so pleased. As a 3rd grader, this is the first year she gets "real" letter grades. This trimester she got 3 As, 1 A-, and 1 B+. She's made improvements in every subject. She's also been very helpful at home, and never complains about chipping in with her chores, so I'm happy to let her be involved in a couple extracurricular activities. On Monday and Wednesday evenings, she's doing Girls on the Run. It's a wonderful program that brings girls together for support and to build confidence, and teaches them that they can achieve great things in life. At the end of the 12 week program they run a 5K to celebrate their accomplishments. On Saturday mornings she's doing gymnastics! This is her very first gymnastics experience, which is exciting and scary lol. She's working through a fear of heights, and I'm working through my fear of her breaking herself again! It's really fun to see her in action, though. This is an 8 week class, and she's only had 2 classes so far.
