It turns out that my mom wanted me to meet this boy. He looked like he was… I think maybe seven…? He said that his name was Thomas and that he wanted to give me a toy. It was in wrapping paper. He told me that he lives across the street from me and said that he wants to have a playdate with me. I was like… Ummmm… I told him yes I can if I am available.
I don’t think he knew what I meant. I think he thought that it was “definitely.” He wanted to come inside and open all the boxes for some reason, but I somehow coaxed him to go home, and he left, saying that I can come over tomorrow.
That was my story of meeting the first person in my neighborhood. Nice, but not exactly someone I can hang out with while not playing… I can’t remember what little boys play! :o
Now I am back in my room. I unpacked some stuff. I have to sleep on a mat tonight. And I think that it is going to snow tonight.
Ok, I am back. I was gone for an hour unpacking more stuff. I have my blanket on the mat that is HARD AS A ROCK! :( Poor me… LOL.
I also have somehow got my bookshelf up. I have unpacked half of my books also and got sidetracked by reading “The catcher in the Rye”. Good book.
It is dark outside already, and my parents are at a “Welcome to the Neighborhood” party. I called my friends from my old school and chatted with Jill for a bit. I also then face-timed Cole because his younger sister Marlen wanted to talk to me. (Marlen fell asleep on the phone… So adorable!)
It is now about 11:00 pm now. I am exhausted. Mom and Dad are not back yet. Imma go to bed. High school death… here I come! :?
