Today at work wasn’t as terrible as anticipated! We were very busy and I was totally spot on with the 3 walk-ins, but they weren’t horrible walk-ins. I stayed late because the last walk-in was a rodenticide ingestion and the process of getting them to vomit, stopping the vomiting, and giving activated charcoal takes forever. Luckily, the critter didn’t eat a toxic dose, but better safe than sorry.
Aaron picked me up and we went to Hazel’s for lunch. I had the savory special which was a flank steak flatbread with lots of cheese, a cilantro salad and a fried egg on top. Delicious. Also had an apple cider mimosa. Yum.
Went home very full and did one of my favorite things-napped on a full stomach. I love napping on a full stomach. It’s so cozy and indulgent. I slept 3 hours with Stanley, Harvey, Johnny and Arty. It was so lovely.
After I woke up, Aaron and I watched a couple episodes of My Life is Murder and now Aaron is making dinner.
Still anxious about tomorrow’s social engagements. Brain, be quiet!

It is the best, especially in a bed full of cozy critters
