The Human Side of Christianity in God, With Skin On

This where I can be myself, honest and open. I am not a Super Christian. I have many faults and I have my doubts and days of misery and confusion. Add to that the times I don’t want to pray or go to church. Days, when God seems a trillion miles away and my prayers don’t get any higher than my head.
Sound familiar? If so, you are not alone. Does it make you feel guilty and unworthy? Guess what, you’re in good company. It is what I call, the human side of Christianity. If you look at many of the characters in the Bible you find the majority dealt with the same things you and I do.
Look at the royal bloodline of Christ! Some very savory, black sheep in that group. So don’t be so hard on yourself when you fail to live up to the expectations others place on you. The good news, they aren’t any better and they don’t get to judge you. Have a great day and enjoy each day God has given you.
